about

Despite being a pretty bad recording, this song is weird. That wasn't really reassuring but, this song is about a sunrise I saw looking North out of my bedroom window. I've seen plenty of sunrise and sunsets, but this one sunrise made the world seem alone. Like I was the only human alive, and it was okay. the sun was behind the clouds, but not like in the normal mid-day shade, the were in front of the sun while it was on the horizon so it was like a paper lantern in the sky and the birds weren't chirping so the lighting was so subtle yet direct. I don't know, the song is so short because I was so busy looking at the sky. Had to simply capture the moment like Ash Ketchum

lyrics

Oh, how I want to see the, sun rise in the East.
And touch the cold air, running underneath my skin.
But when the night's last breath is short.
I see your eyes glisten, from the sun to the moon.
