about

A typical love song. About a girl and how I was helping her from her indirectly self-destructive ways, and as she drifted I thought I was in the wrong but she was slipping away from purity with each day. Sounds pretty conceded, speaking as if I'm some demigod prophet, but in context it makes sense.

lyrics

I remember looking in her poison brown eyes back in the summertime.
So you called him up, there was a ringing in your ear.
I grabbed your shoulder, and you brushed it off. Like I was not there.
No, I certainly was. I truthfully cared.

I recall me calling you, in the wintertime. There goes that ringing in my ear.
SoI sang a song, oh the birds had chirped along.
The melody that drapes over the night, sunrise is close not near.
This was last year, now I cannot care.

Orange haze, orange haze please come save me.
The waxy green cannot bleed from the trees.
Far away, far away. Gave an arm, did not repay.
The day you'll die is today.

Over the mountain is where the raven cries, with hollow lullabies.
A sense too divine for the eye.

Orange haze, orange haze please come save me.
The waxy green cannot bleed from the trees.
Far away, far away. Gave an arm, did not repay.
The day you'll die, is today.
